At Theo Specialty Coffee, we are a specialty micro-roastery and green coffee exporter currently working with twelve estates across southern India.

For decades, Indian coffee has been trapped in a paradox. Despite growing under unique, biodiversity-rich canopies, the vast majority of India's premium harvest is exported as anonymous filler, swallowed up by the commodity market and lost inside massive industrial blends. At the same time, the farmers growing these exceptional beans face mounting pressure from erratic climate shifts and rising cultivation costs.

We are here to change that trajectory. The farms we partner with span over two hill ranges in Chikmagalur and Yercaud, holding the longest continuous cultivation records in India. These families have tended the soil for several generations, yet most have never had their stories written down.
